· Open PB/28-29, S read aloud the title. · Ask: How many (lines/paragraphs) are there? 47/6 · S read the 1st sentence from each paragraph. · Open WB/20, read the ins. and read aloud the 6 sentences. · Introduce: Þ topic sentence. topic = something to say or write about. · Look at B, read aloud the ins, S read aloud the 6 titles in the box. · Divide the class into pairs to decide and write the paragraph titles (02m) · Go back to PB/28-29, S find out the words which are written in italics and say that they are not English, but Arabic words. · Þ Ramadan: L: 7, 11, 26, 40 and 47 · Þ Hajj: L: 9 · Þ Magrhrib: L: 31 · Þ Lailatul Qadr: L: 33 · Þ Eid Al-Fitr: L: 41. · Write these Q's on the board: What must a Muslim give to the poor?
