   ·   S turn WRB/13, S think about their mistakes.

   ·   Turn P/14, S read the ins. and complete at home.

 

   ·   S look at the poster:

   ·   Pic. 1: A TV. reporter is interviewing someone (probably a passenger) at an airport check-in counter. It looks like King Khaled international Airport (= adj. between countries) in Riyadh. There are 2 flights at the check in-counter: One from Riyadh to Dubai Via Dhahran, and one to Najran and Jizan.

   ·   Pic. 2: This shows the flight information for Saudia flight SV 349 from Riyadh to Dubai with a

      stopover in Dhahran: (break a journey for a short period)

   ·   pic. 3: This is an advertisement for an airline( Saudia) It says that flying with Saudia is enjoyable: ( the adj. from the (v) enjoy. Ask: Who is the man giving the passenger a newspaper? a flight attendant : helper. Are the passengers working or relaxing? relaxing = resting

 

   ·   Write these Q's on the board: ( S read them aloud )

How many people does he interview here? 3

Where are these people flying to? Najran, Dubai & Dhahran

What reasons do the travellers give for going by plane? 1. It saves time. 2. you can rest.

 

   ·   Play the cassette, S listen for the answers.

   ·   Open PB/17, look at the Q's, S answer them,

   ·   Look at C, S read aloud the ins., introduce: travel is the (n) from the (v) travel.
