   ·   Open WRB  , S read aloud the sentences written for homework.

 

   ·    

   ·   Write on the board:

                        What               has                 he                     written?

                        What                is                   it                       made                 from?

                        What                is                   he                      doing?

®Say look at : do/did , What do they tell you? Do = present & did is past.

   ·   What form is the main verb with 'do' and 'did'? They have no ending, & with 'do' the subject is singular.

®Look at has: What does it tell us? It tells us the tense Øpresent perfect, and the subject is singular.

   ·   What form is the main verb with 'has'? past participle.

®look at the last 2 helping  verbsØ 'is /is' They tell us that the subject is singular.

   ·   the main verbs: 1 of them is passive and the other is active. (they are from the verb 'be'

 

   ·   Writ on the board:

®Say: Here the verb 'be' is a main verb but sometimes the verb 'be' has a helping verb as:         Verb 'be' is

                           What             had                 he                         been            before?

 

   ·   Open PB , S read all the boxes there: box1,2 and 3.

   ·   Open WB  , ex. A, read aloud the ins, go through all the examples there.

   ·   Do the same with the othere ex.
