·       Open RB/P50, look at the pic, ask: What can you see? What special about this photograph? It is a satellite photograph which shows the Red Sea, part of Africa, the Arabian Peninsula and the Arabian Gulf.

·       Look at P/51, read aloud the ins’s to part A. Look at Q1, S look at the beginning of the passage on P/56

·       Read the other 3 Q’s. S answer them.

 

 

 

·       Turn RB/P51/EX.B, read the ins’s and explanation. Say: (Sometimes = not always) they have similar meaning. Read the words and give them words with a similar meaning.

 

 

 

·       Turn P52, read aloud the ins’s, S read the 1st Q, answer it. S take (2m) to do the rest.

·       After (2m) S start to answer the Q’s.

 

 

 

·       Turn to P/53, read aloud the title and the ins’s. Ask: What is the 1st word that you are going to look for in the dic? a skeleton, Say:  look at that word now, S open P/67 and read the definition, turn back to P/53 and find the pic.

·       Say: you are going to look for the other words, remind them to use the alphabetical order. Help S.

 

 

 

·       Turn P/45, read the title and the ins’s, Some S read aloud the 5 steps, S look at P/55, S should understand what the Q’s mean and they must think about these Q’s when they read the passage

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

HOMEWORK:

S read the passage P/56-58, and write the answers to the questions on P/55.
