·       Open PB/P44, Look at the table in part 1. Point to part A row A and say: The inf in part A is about the problem of pollution of the earth’s atmosphere. S look at the para in part 2. Ask: What is the title ?...

·       S read  aloud the sentence of the para, others say where the inf for that sentence is in the table.

·       Repeat this for the other 2 sentences.

·       Point to part 1, row B, say: The inf here is about another problem. Ask: What is the problem here? pollution of the earth’s water supply.

·       Say: we are going to use the inf here to write a para like the one at the bottom of the page.

·       S say: the title and the sentences as they come in the table. Introduce the new voc:

  1.  pour: = spill: empty (v) liquid from something.

  2.  spoil: =  damage or =  hurt something

·       Open WB/P40, read the ins’s,  S write the para on an empty page at the end of their WB not on page 40, walk and help S.

·       Collect the WB.
