   ·   Say: In the last seventy years, the lives of Saudis have changed a lot. Write ( the last seventy years ) on the board and draw a time line below it. Say: The last means ( months, weeks, days, hours, etc,...) the ones before the present moment.

   ·   Ask: What are some of the things that have changed in the last seventy years? Show S some key words: E.g.,: travel, roads, houses, school, shops, towns, jobs.... Ask 3 Q's about each word from the previous ones:

  1.  What was this (were these) like before?

  2.  What is it (are they) like now?

  3.  How has this (have these) changed?

   ·   Hang up poster 7, S close their books, ask the Q's on PB/P31, I'll introduce these words: traditional , brand-new, mud, disadvantage. S repeat words.

   ·   Open PB/P31, S ask and answer the Q's there.

   ·   Turn PB/P32, read the title, point to the pic on p33, ask some Q's about those pic.

   ·   look at the title, ask: What do you think the title means? different ways of living or different ways people live. Style: means the way something is done or is made.

   ·   Look at P32, How many paragraph are there? 3. Ask Q's from e.x., A, S look at the reading  and answer.

   ·   S scan the reading for information and their lines.
