2nd.Introduce the inf. on an air ticket.

·       Hang the clock, move the hands ask: What is the time?

  ·       Write these hours on the board:                                                                                                              0100     1000     2200     0200     1100     2300     0300     1200     0000

·       Say this way is used in air travel because every one in the world can understand it without using any language.

·       Say: From 0001 to 1159 morning times.                                                                                                  

             From 1200 to 2359 afternoon and evening times.

·       S say the time on the board with am  or  p.m.

·       Erase the 00 from  each # and write mini’s e.g., 2215

 

 

 

·       Write This is your flight tomorrow . Now give me this information:

Þ   What airline are you going? SV = Saudia

Þ   What flight # is it? ess-vee  oh- three- four

Þ   Where do you fly from? Riyadh

Þ   Where do you stop? Rome

Þ   Where do you fly to? London

Þ   When do you take off? (7.30 a.m.)

Þ   When do you land? 1.40 p.m.

 

·       We use the present simple to talk about the future because it is on a timetable. It is a plan.

·       Look at PB/P53/1, repeat the previous Q’s with those tickets, introduce the new voc: Airways airline,

·       Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Brussels, Doha, Hong Kong, Singapore

 

 

·       S should guess where other people are going by answering some Q’s with the simple tense e.g.,: Do you land at..................?

·       A S come out, S look at PB/P53, I with the boy should know only one ticket, So ask him some Yes/ No Q’s, he will answer , after all the details, choose one to tell which ticket the boy has. Your ticket is (D)
