PROCEDURE

 

OBJECTIVES:

1st. Study the new reading passage, practising scanning, comprehension, pronunciation and new voc.

ACTIVITIES:

 

A. (40m)

 

·       Show S the cards of L:1-2, ask them some Q’s about Hamza.

·       Open PB/P50, read the title, look at the pic’s

  1.  Departure: Are the passengers arriving or leaving? = going away.

  2.  queue: the line of people who are waiting here is the queue. He joins the back of the queue.

  3.  check-in counter: When you enter the airport , first you take your luggage, tickets and passport to the check-in counter. Ask: Who helps you when you check in? the airline clerk: someone who works in an office look at that clerk ask: Who does he work for an airline

  4.  Here are 2 pieces of paper : 1) a form     2) a boarding pass

  5.   Where is Hamza now? He is at the passport. Check: an examination in order to learn whether something is correct.

  6.  Where is Hamza now? He is in the departure lounge: where he wait for his plane.

·       S scan the passage, ask, give infor and S answer:
