  B.  Revise the formation and use of the present simple tense.

TEACHING AIDS:

4 pieces of paper with some present simple sentences, Poster 5 + Some cards.

   ·   Write:      long .......... longer than        early........... earlier than

 

   ·   S give other words like these: tall..... taller, wide.....wider, big.....bigger, hot.....hotter,

   ·   heavy.....heavier, good..... better, bad.....worse.

 

   ·   Open PB/P22/box2, S make up 2 or 3 sentences. E.g., School B is wider than school A. S repeat.

 

   ·   S make up 10 sentences about the schools, S repeat.

 

 

 

 

   ·   Look at #1 PB/P23, read aloud about the time line. Draw the time line and say: We use it for things

 

   ·   which happen all the time: Every day, every week, every year,....etc. S make sentences from the box.

 

   ·   Repeat the previous step with boxes 2 and 3/ PB/P 23

 

   ·   Turn to PB/P30, say aloud sentences from boxes 2A. B and C.

 

   ·   S close PB, I'll bring the previous 4 sentences from the teaching aids, read aloud the 1st one then ask:

 

Is that right or wrong? S look at the poster then answer with: Yes, that is right or No, that is wrong.

 

S correct that sentence.

 

   ·    ask a S to read out the correct sentence by using it's paper.
